Prologue

Since you last heard from me more than a month has passed. I have left home, I have moved house, I have ‘started a new school’ – three of the most stressful experiences in life apart from the death of a loved one. Yet you will be pleased to learn that your narrator has confronted them with a cool head and come out relatively unscathed. (Although in the end this is true, through the course of this blog you will come to appreciate the irony of the previous sentence). The only downside is that it would be near impossible to map the occurrences of these past few weeks. The chronological order of events has escaped me, and at this late stage it would not be the most ideal way of presenting the story anyway. Resultantly all the post dates are fake and inconsequential. There is an order to it, but it’s not that one. So my only request to you is that we skip the tedious storytelling and filling in and skip straight to the anecdotes.
I hope you can stay with me through this marvellously epic adventure in many parts.

Let us begin…

  1. Three of the most stressful experience in life, but which, as opposed to the death of a loved one, can actually result in some positive evolution, to the upgrading of one's condition, or to the discovery of something new. All of which of course don't necessarily apply to your condition, but are to be considered, especially since some last better discoveries of yours. But surely, the presence of a not so darling grandmother, among other things, can stifle any primary enthusiasm...

Shorter, music-enhanced and themed posts/podcasts, are a bite-sized joy, I must say. They surely last not enough for a long bus trip, but they're easier to digest, comment, enjoy. And if it means more regular posting, all the best.
